  6. Describe briefly the physical appearance of the object(s):   At it's closest point, it 
  7. was a structured craft of some sort.  It had two orange lights in the rear, two 
  8. "pillow-like" simi-transparent, soft-white colored things on it's underside.  There 
  9. was a pointed structure at the front, with a red light that sometimes strobed near the 
  10. tip.  There were other lights strobing at different intervals on other parts of the 
  11. object.  The top of the object was not visible, as it blended in with the black sky.  
  12. It was hard to tell exactly what shape it was.

  14. Describe briefly the location of your sighting:    Right outside of town, on a road.  
  15. Fields mostly, with a few trees lining the road.  A few houses were on both sides, 
  16. with empty lots between them.

  18. Where were you & what were you doing at the time:    I received a phone call at home 
  19. from my girlfriend saying they seen the object south of Lafayette, LA.  I immediately 
  20. drove towards where they said it was headed.

  22. What made you first notice the object:     It was a bright, star-like object moving 
  23. towards the northwest.  I noticed a few bright flashes from the object every now and 
  24. then.

  26. What did you think the object was when you first saw it:     I thought it might be a 
  27. airplane at first, or a planet near the western horizon.

  29. Describe your reaction/action during and after the sighting: I was pretty excited, 
  30. very curious, too.  I felt determined to get a better look.

  32. Describe the object and its actions:   When I first saw the object, it was in the WNW 
  33. and moving slowly in that same direction.  I stopped my vehicle and looked at the 
  34. object with 7x50 binoculars.  It looked like a bright, reddish star or plane to the 
  35. unaided eye.  With the binoculars it was a round light with a smaller strobing light 
  36. near one edge of it.  I then drove several miles following the object and it seemed I 
  37. was getting closer to it.  The object moved along ahead of me but finally slowed it's 
  38. WNW movement and seemed to be hovering about 15 degrees above the horizon to the west 
  39. of me.

  41. When observed through the binoculars, it seemed to be a structured craft.  There was a 
  42. round, green light the color of grass right next to it to the left of craft.  This 
  43. light seemed to be attached to the object by something.  I flashed my headlights on 
  44. and off quickly to attract it's attention.  The object then started moving slowly in 
  45. my direction (east), so I attempted to get where it would cross the North-South road I 
  46. was on.  I stopped and got out the truck and watched as the object slowly drifted over 
  47. towards me and crossed the road I was parked on.  The shape of the object seemed to 
  48. resolve into several stobing lights, with the two "pillow-like" objects on the 
  49. underside.  There was no sound coming from the object, as far as I could tell.

  51. The object continued to move towards the east and back towards town.  It seemed to be 
  52. only 300-500 feet in the air when it passed over me.   As it got further away, it 
  53. picked up speed and got lower towards the horizon.  Several radio towers and a water 
  54. tower were in that direction.  As it neared these, it turned towards the south, and 
  55. dipped down behind some trees in the distance.

  58. trees.
